If you haven't yet downloaded the (free!) Whole Foods app, go do it!! They have amazing recipes. One of our favorites is a buckwheat grout and old fashioned oats recipe for a yummy, homey tasting oatmeal, perfect for a rainy morning (like we had today). The official Whole Foods name of the recipe for you to use is Apple-scented Breakfast Oatmeal and Buckwheat.
Toast up the grouts and oats (say that 10 times fast), while heating the apple juice, water, and a cinnamon stick in a separate pan (pictured below). I would recommend about a 1/2 cup less liquid than the recipe says.
Then add the grains to the liquid and allow to cook 10 minutes or until liquid is gone. To serve, I like to add a dollop of peanut butter and fruit (bananas today). A sprinkle of cinnamon on top pulls it all together!
