Friday morning I was honored to attend the ceremony and hear from a retired officer on his personal experience as a POW in Vietnam. It was humbling and excruciating. The importance of our military and the risks they take on a daily business are put into perspective during events such as these.
My husband's squadron's display in memory of airmen they have lost. After the 24 hour run, they carried this log and ran as a group another 3 miles to the ceremony.
Thank you to all of our American men and women who have dedicated their lives to the safety and freedom of us all. And to my own handsome officer- I love you and am so proud of you.
