I haven't had Cornish game hens in years- probably since I still lived at home and my mom made them, but I had a sudden craving and snatched a couple when I found them at the local grocery store. Then I noticed parsnips and remembered a delicious roasted vegetable recipe I got from Aly years ago that is perfect for a fall dinner and would complement my hens well. And so, wala- pin together post!
I hope you all are enjoying some of these recipes as much as I am! I love coming on this blog and seeing what my sisters are posting; it's inspiring and always mouth-watering! When I saw Aly's post of the Cold Asian Salad, I knew I had to make it ASAP! We, of course, grew up eating the same meals and have the same eagerness to enjoy all things Japanese whenever possible; I could tell it was a winner! I made the salad for lunch one day but we loved it so much and had enough leftover, I wanted it for dinner the next day too, In order to make it a more filling and complete dinner meal, I decided to add some tofu to round out the Asian inspiration.
